Client: Nii. Nii Bar creates nutrient-dense, organic food bars. They are gluten-free, soy-free, vegan and non-GMO verified. Nii Foods is committed to creating the purest, healthiest, most vibrant foods. The foods they create are delicious, creative and innovative, which will empower and facilitate a healthy, active lifestyle.
Challenge: Nii Foods approached BASIC with an offer to allow them to become their AOR – BASIC would be responsible for everything from branding, advertising and marketing, to web design, web development and video production.
Medium: Online / Video / Print
Capability: Nii Energy Bar Discovery, Market and Audience research, Brand Identity tagline, Brand Positioning and Messaging Strategy, Brand Introduction, Copywriting, Copyediting.
Role: As Senior Copywriter, I was responsible for coming up with the market research, audience discovery, brand strategy, brand positioning, tone of voice and and a “Million-dollar tagline.” (Yes. This was actually a verbatim request from the client).
Additionally, I was responsible for creating concepts, storyboards and a script for both their 60-second and 30-second launch videos. I also helped with creative direction for the video shoot and was involved in location scouting, interviewing actors, sound design and post production.
