Umpqua: The World’s Greatest Bank

Client: Umpqua. Umpqua Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: UMPQ) is the parent company of Umpqua Bank, an Oregon-based community bank recognized for its entrepreneurial approach, innovative use of technology, and distinctive banking solutions. Umpqua Bank has locations across Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California and Northern Nevada.

Challenge: Umpqua needed help with their messaging strategy, brand messaging and copyediting as a result of a recent merger with Sterling Bank.

Medium: Print, Web, Mobile, Outdoor, In-Store.

Capability: Copywriting, Copyediting, Campaign Ideation.

Role: As a Senior Copywriter on Umpqua’s internal creative team, I was responsible for developing brand messaging, website copy and copyediting for Umpqua.

Additionally, I was tasked with concepting ideas and campaigns that would showcase new positioning and marketing initiatives for the post-merger brand.
